Leadership Development
For the past 20 years, Steve Smith has worked with a variety of people to help with the individual and organizational development. Through SASi - The Leadership People, he has worked to develop and implement a proven and applicable curriculum for helping people and organizations grow, work together, and get the most out of their goals.
Music Education
With an extensive career as a music educator, Steve feels most at home in the classroom. He loves helping students and teachers at any level and is sought after as a clinician and presenter throughout the United States, Canada and Australia. His expertise in the band classroom and on the marching field has allowed him to work along side and learn from some of the finest teachers and musicians.

Through SASi, Steve is available to come work with organizations to help individuals and groups grow and thrive.
Typically set-up as a two day seminar, Steve will guide groups through a curriculum that includes, goal-setting, communication, team building activities, problem solving and much more.

Steve is always excited to work with students and teachers in the classroom. He is happy to come work with band students from the beginning stages through high school and college.
Steve loves rehearsing a full ensemble or can spend the entire day with teachers and students as a mentor or guide.

Steve is also very experienced as a presenter for school professional development sessions, university music education classes, as well as state music education conferences.
As an experienced and successful music educator and as a leader in Music Education at Hal Leonard for nearly a decade, Steve has a variety of topics to help help and inspire teachers and future educators to success.
